Soon it will be summer.
I'll have my birthday then.
I will be a little older.
Someday I will be TEN!
I have a friend named Colin.
He says that he believes
when his birthday comes in the fall
we'll play out in the leaves. |
My birthday is always hot
so we'll blow up my pool.
Then my friends will all jump in
and we'll be nice and cool.
They'll say "Happy Birthday!"
We'll have ice cream and cake.
And I'll think "What a difference
another year will make."
