I brought some cares with me today.
I try, but they won't go away.
I cannot think just what to say.
It is about my friend, LaRay.
We started out just playing, but
then we started getting rough,
and then we started talking tough.
We didn't stop it soon enough.

I was so very mad, you see.
LaRay was very mad at me.
I want things like they used to be.
So, I owe an apology.
"LaRay, will you forgive me?"
"I forgive you, too!"
It has had me feeling blue.
But now I know what I should do.
