Since I've been reading poetry
I make up my own rhymes
and put the words together
to tell about the times.
A friend is sad 'cause things are bad.
Some folks at home are sick.
And so he's doing all he can
to get them better, quick.

First, he does his homework,
then he helps with the meal,
and then he helps with cleaning up.
He says "It's no big deal."
He wants to help, and be someone
who does good things for others.
He says we should help everyone,
even pesky brothers!
