I like to set the table.
(Well, really I just help.)
First I put the plates around
that mom gets from the shelf.
Then beside each plate I put
a fork, a knife, a spoon,
a napkin and a glass of ice,
cause we'll be eating soon.

I get to cut a lemon
while mom cuts up a lime,
and then I get to go and yell
"Come on, it's supper time!"
