What sounds do you hear late at night?
Quiet peacefullness?
Do you hear chirping crickets?
Do you hear sirens pass?

Do you hear freight trains going by?
Do you hear airplanes in the sky?
Do you hear a car horn blow?
Do you hear buses driving slow?
I listen and I think,
when we turn off the light,
identifying all the sounds
before we say "Goodnight."
