The time in school that's best for me
is when we have a spelling bee.
(I practice spelling late at night.
It really helps me when I write.)
So, we line up from left to right
and we spell everything in sight.
We spell chalkboard, and desk and light
and pencils, crayons, clock and kite.

I haven't won the contest yet
but I will try again.
And next time I'll be better still.
Some day I will win!
